7 Zimmermann Stud Bag

Posted in Loewe handbags on August 30th, 2011 by ybfen

I can’t decide whether or not this Zimmermann Stud Bag bag looks like some sort of Woodstock-inspired wrecking ball, or an S&M torture device, or just a really cool bag. Honestly, it looks like it should be attached to a stick and used to swing around and beat someone with, patent leather handbags, but there’s something about it that also makes me want to swing it on my shoulder. Maybe it’s the silk tie-dyed fabric peeking out from behind the cover of crisscrossed leather banding interspersed with studs. Or maybe it’s the ball-shaped body and long swingy handle. Or maybe it’s the overall cool factor of this Australian-styled, edgy bag that can also double as a weapon. Whatever it is, the uniqueness just can’t be beat. (Pun intended).

We never tire of Alexander McQueen bags. Especially now that he’s gone, we cherish his designs that much more. Kelly Osbourne, Janet Jackson and Keri Hilson, just to name a few, christian louboutin wedding, have been entranced by McQueen’s Faithful bags. And now there’s a new addition to the collection – the Alexander McQueen Faithful Medium polished-leather satchel ($1,335). It’s a lovely new bag for Spring. The lush, light olive green color blends perfectly with this season’s military trend and is just right for spring. But don’t let the soft color fool ya. It’s a badass biker satchel that any McQueen girl would love. The bag has a top handle along with a long shoulder strap, and a front envelope pocket and a rounded fold-over flap on the front. Zip-closures, buckled straps and ribbed stitching details give it a slight edge. It’s rocker chic mixed with a little bit of pretty, which is the only way McQueen does it. And we love it.

203 Bulga Mini Marquis Satchel

Posted in Cartier handbags on August 30th, 2011 by ShoesBrands

I typically have nothing negative to say about Bulga – I really love their bags. But this Mini Marquis Satchel had me scratching my head. I get it – it’s supposed to be tie-dye,christian louboutin sale, but really it just looks dirty. Like you were standing on a corner in NYC on a rainy April day with your brand new bag and then a taxi drives by and splash! Your new bag is covered in street gunk. And voila – you’ve got Bulga’s new bag! Ok, maybe that’s a bit harsh but the bag does look a little gunky. Maybe it’s because it’s tie-dyed leather rather than fabric? Or maybe it’s just my opinion. What do you think? Haute or not?

75 Katie Holmes newest title is handbag designer of Valextra for Holmes & Yang

Posted in Balenciaga handbags on August 30th, 2011 by ShoesBrands

We already know Katie Holmes the actress (we’ll always remember her as Joey Potter on Dawson’s Creek), wife to Tom Cruise, mother to Suri and even fashion designer (she’s one half of the brand Holmes & Yang). And now she’s adding handbag designer to her list of accomplishments.

WWD reports that Katie, along with partner Jeanne Yang, leather prada handbags, collaborated with Valextra (a fave bag brand of Katie’s; her bestie Victoria Beckham is a fan too), to create two handbags for the Valextra for Holmes & Yang collection. They celebrated the launch at Barneys New York, where the bags will be sold exclusively starting in July. The bags (pictured on Katie) are classic square-shaped shoulder/tote bags with double handles and a large front flap. They come in two colorways: white/navy blue or white/shiny black calfskin. The bags will retail for $3,950.

Katie said about Valextra: “Their quality is exceptional. There’s such integrity in their work — they’re artists.” Valextra CEO Emanuele Carminati Molina said: “This was our first collaboration [and it's been] really incredible. We decided to follow the desires of Katie [Holmes] and Jeanne [Yang], who wanted to have their own bag realized by Valextra. Because they love our products…and we wanted to see, and understand which style they were wearing. We understood that the style is simple but very chic, clean lines, sophisticated, with a lot of attention to the details. I knew that it was good for Valextra to try, and to mix our style with their style.”

59 Haute bag of the week Stella McCartney Braided Faux Leather Clutch

Posted in Christian Dior handbags on August 30th, 2011 by ShoesBrands

We tend to think that Stella McCartney‘s accessories are just a wee bit overpriced (especially since they’re not made of leather), but we do admit the eco-friendly designer makes some awfully cute stuff. Like this Stella McCartney Braided Faux Leather Clutch. It reminds us of those old 70′s-style chairs we used to sit on at our aunt’s house when we were kids; with its braided, wicker-like detail. It’s right on-trend with all of the 70′s inspired looks for the season. It’s made of polyurethane, naturally, veneta bottega, and features a foldover flap with a snap closure, and a removable interior zip-pouch. It’s the perfect accessory to pair with some wood platforms and flared jeans! It’s a cute clutch – we just wish it wasn’t so pricey!
